Primary characters are units with significant narrative arcs. They are the main characters of the game.
Secondary Characters are units without unique portraits.
Supports are bonds formed between characters. They provide bonuses to units that stand within two spaces of one another. The supports listed here are ones that develop over the course of the game based on player choices; each support includes at least one paired epilogue. During the opening to Chapter 7, each unit commits to continuing just one of their possible supports.
