The guides below contain spoilers.
Primary characters are units with significant narrative arcs. They are the main characters of the game. If they fall in battle, they will be available again at the beginning of the next chapter.
Secondary characters are units without unique portraits. If they fall in battle, they will be permanently unavailable if playing on Balanced or Challenge difficulty.
Supports are bonds formed between characters. They provide bonuses to units within two spaces of one another. Except for supports including Deirdre, all supports require the involved characters to Talk in Chapter 11. Each support includes at least one paired epilogue.
